I bought one of these so I will let you in on a little secret. Water tends to collect in the tip, making the light stay on, which then drains the battery in less than a day. Additionally, the pooled up water then rusts the insides and starts to grow mold. This thing quickly turns into a high school science project gone terribly wrong. Save your money.

I got this last year. It is in the guest bathroom. Some love it some think I am a HUGE nerd. Sometimes I go in there and turn it on in the dark just to see the LED goodness. I guess that I AM a nerd. :)

Ive seen these on gizmodo before.

I once got one that only does blue from the Discovery Store. The way it turns on and off is through the conductivity of the water, so make sure you turn your water completely off or you will drain the battery big time.

Nice touchup, makes the faucet look like it's spouting blood. In the real world, it would be obvious that the water isn't red.
