Don't change a thing about your live blogging.
Also, don't listen to the people who say there's too much iPhone coverage on this site.*
*Full disclosure: I was one of those people until I bought one, and now it's my favorite part of the site.

Damn, with the launch of Gdgt, does that mean I'll have to check three gadget blogs every day, rather than two?
I currently prefer Gizmodo to Engadget by leaps and bounds, and that's in very large part due to your efforts Brian.

RalphWiggum commented on Windows 7 Aiming for 15 Second Boot Times?,
at 1:23 PM on Sep 3
My PC at home boots Vista in under 40 seconds and never crashes, thus only requiring me to reboot it about once every three weeks or so when I install stuff.
Count me in the small universe of people who actually really like Vista.

This would certainly explain why AT&T is sending users text messages asking them to upgrade.
After all the horrible reviews I've read of 2.0.2, there's no way I'm upgrading until the next release comes out.

RalphWiggum commented on iPhone Jailbreak Now QuickPwned: No Need for iTunes-Based Restore,

Sorry if this is Pwnage 101, but....
If I jailbreak my phone today, and tomorrow a 2.0.2 software update comes out that fixes my 3G problem (I guess I'm one of the 2%'rs), does that mean I have to restore to a backup image pre-jailbreak before I can download the software upgrade?

RalphWiggum commented on Sonos Improves Wi-Fi With ZonePlayer ZP90 and Small Self-Powered ZP120 Audio Streamers,
at 1:35 PM on Aug 5
Sonos is the single best gadget investment I've made since buying my first Tivo.
I love the system and am happy to see new hardware offerings (not that the previous one's were anything to scoff at.) Anyone who thinks they can accomplish the same setup with iTunes/Airtunes/iPhone has no idea how the system works and the benefits it offers for a full housewide multi-room audio setup.
Sonos is the best in its class, plain and simple.

While it's exciting that the apps don't require approval, I'd be a bit concerned about getting buggy apps that slow down or crash the phone's OS.
