yeah, this is a useless post. It seems very similar to an Alienware ad.

Or just get the same laptop, minus Alienware graphics, at the same company using the "Dell XPS" option.

Silly me, I would have thought the 29 other ad's you have splashed all over your page would have brought you suffieciant revenue. Apparently they need to be actual posts now... Let me know when you bring back noteworthy content that we don't have to sift through spam to get to. OR you could do what pr0n sites do and just randomly redirect people all over the internet, that would work wonders as well.

Even the hardcore gamer geeks in my IS department don't use Alienware anymore. Too much markup compared to a Dell they say.

Yeah i am also dissapointed, I would have thought this would at least point to Alienwares Ebay outlet, or a special deal they have going on. Just making a post thats an ad is misleading, The headline says advertisement in tiny print, alot smaller than the headline itself, Knowing us DEVOTE READERS, we just click more to see what its about, just to be beseiged with a 2000$ price tag and nothing but an full page ad.

Really guys? Keep the ads to the banner boxes, and YOUR LOGO, and THE ENTIRE PAGE (colorbots removing the color from the site!! CMON!!! is that not enough!!!)

I am disliking Gizmodo more with each of these stupid stunts for money. I would rather just donate money to you.

I was about to leap to Giz' defense, but then I clicked on the link, and the listed price was $3,124.00. "begin around $2,000"? Mmm-hmm. Aren't these things just redressed and price-enhanced Acers, anyway? Not your best idea to do ad posts, folks.

Alienware, for as much premium as they pump us for, give back very very little in return. I liked the original idea, providing gaming capable laptops and top of the line gaming desktops with all the bloatware of typical systems already removed at the factory. Ready to game, out of the box. These days, however, we have ample evidence that points to a piss poor customer service record, something which in computers is not necessarily abnormal but which in PREMIUM systems should be more than just frowned upon. Should, in fact, be SHUNNED. I had been planning on spending my hard earned money on an Alienware system 'sometime in the future' several years back, but armed with the knowledge that they screwed multiple customers when they could have just either repaired or replaced the 'broke back' systems (yes, that's a reference to Alienware being a 'gay' company - heh heh heh, sorry for the non PC comment but not really) methinks Alienware is in for some post apocalyptic shunning from those in the 'know'.
